2025 Challenges
We are excited to bring you 5 fantastic challenges for 2025!
So what is a challenge?
A challenge is a personal effort undertaken any time, where you are responsible for your own guidance, endurance and welfare.
I want to do it with people.
Once a year, we offer a day (or two) where we will support you, during this time you will meet fellow challengers.
What is included in the support days?
As standard we provide a gps tracker, map and route instructions, gpx file, kit carriage, refreshments, a memento for finishing, or recovery if unable to do so (WalkRun24 doesn't include kit carriage, or recovery). For two day events, we will also provide basic evening accommodation or camping and savoury bites.
I want to do them all.
Great, sign up for the all challenges on the Newcastle Way Registration section. You only have to register once, you get a discount and your medals will all fit together. Price for all 5 challenges: £200/£65
Stone Circles Challenge
A great ultra distance challenge that circles the town of Stone, Staffordshire. The 35 mile route is a nice introduction to ultras and mud, that said we have chosen a time of year for the group day to reduce the chance of you losing your trainers.

Date: 3rd August
Start Time: Between 7am and 8am
Age: 18+
Cut off: 10 hours from 7am
Included: GPS Tracker, Map, Route & Gpx file, Refreshments, Kit carriage to finish, Medal or Recovery from course.

On your own, Anytime
Complete the course on your own, anytime throughout 2025 and send us your time.
Included: Inclusion in results, Gpx file, Map and Medal posted.

WalkRun24
Just how far can you go in 24 hours? Simply head in any direction to get as far as you possibly can. Distance is calculated as the crow flies. Once a year, we will start from one iconic location and give you some options to get your distance goal. Of course, feel free to do your own route!

Start Time: 7pm Friday to 7pm Saturday
Age: 18+
Cut off: 24 Hours!!
Included: GPS Tracker, Map options & gpx file, Refreshments to carry & Medal.
