Cloud 9 Fell Race
01.03.26

New for Cloud 9 2026! – Partly due to the closure of a canal bridge this year the main part of the route will be run in an anticlockwise rotation (as we last did in 2008!) with some route modifications around the Biddulph Valley Way, but remaining 9 miles overall. However, the majority of the route around the Bridgestones and Cloud remains, though running it in the opposite direction will make it feel very different – please see route map.
Please note £1.50 for every runner will be donated to the National Trust as the Bosley Cloud is NT land.
Cut off time
Please note there will be a cut off time of 70 minutes (at Marshall point 'N' on the upward leg to the cloud - Style point). The distance at this point is approximately 4.6 Miles into the race, if you don't feel you can make this time then please do not enter. Please view cut off point on course map attached.
